I love the bill hicks quote. However I don't think it's about entertainment. it's about abysmal loneliness, ultimate loneliness. and it is not a hobby, imo. IMHO, god does not do other things on the side. god is existence. god is our existence. we are not a side-project. We are God. Reflections of, the source of, both. God is evolving with us.

I still believe that our purpose is to experience God the fullest, meaning seeking out the fullest self-knowledge of gnosis, thereby finding God within. I also think that we are messengers of God for God, to God, to ourselves. To infuse this world with divinity, to remind ourselves of our divinity.

Still doesn't explain the UFOs though...
