The easiest way to clean a copper disc is to heat it gently. The cutting oil used in manufacturing will smoke and burn off quickly (there isn’t very much to begin with).

The GVG is at least as good as all of us “converts” have been claiming. Just remember to start with a smaller dose than usual, or you’ll be in for a surprise.

I haven’t used the Volcano liquid pads, but members who have used both have said that the copper mesh works better.

Stainless steel ribbon works just as well, but another member mentioned to me that it imparts a metallic flavor that copper does not.
