Honestly, after a certain point, I can't imagine that MORE pixels are really all that important. I'm fine with my 1080p BluRay video.
What I really want is not higher resolution, but better 3D technology. Honestly I haven't been impressed with ANY 3D tech so far. Even Avatar's 3D was just kind of cheesy IMHO. I mean, it certainly had more "depth" than 2D film, but the fact that it was so obviously "artificial" was just too distracting from the actual content of the movie.
