Unexpected "2nd trip" caused by a "chakra movement" (what happened?)

Dear fellow Nexians,

(I hope this is a suitable section to post my topic. Also please be patient with my non-native English )

At the beginning I would like to emphasise that albeit I am respectful to all spiritual/religious pathways people voluntarily choose for themselves, I myself am not a follower of any particular official line of any spiritual theory/practice.

A few weeks ago I experienced something that I found quite interesting, but for me difficult to understand. It happened during (after) a sub-breakthrough DMT trip. I don´t know how to explain it in "rational" terms, but when the sub-breakthrough DMT-trip was about to end after 5 minutes or so, when I thought something like "OK, now I can already open my eyes...", I suddenly started to have a strange sensation of a sort of "pressure" between my eyes – it is a place where Indian spiritual traditions place the 6th chakra, if I am not mistaken. I had a sensation that a kind of serene energy started moving through the space in between my eyes. I didn´t fight this feeling, as it was not at all unpleasant, and decided "let go" to what was about to come.

Let me point out that this happened after a nicely visual sub-breakthrough DMT trip, when I was pulled by my "chakra sensation" into another trip. This time I was taken to an unusual "place" which I never seen/experienced before. It was a place filled with amorphous pastel and predominantly light colours that were constantly changing, melting and shifting (never experienced this on DMT before). After a while I realised that these constantly changing colours probably "react" to the content of my mind, and that there actually might be some kind of communication going on. However, before I could explore this new dimension more thoroughly, I was back in my normal, consensual, reality (this "second trip" lasted additional 5-10 minutes).

I am fully aware that these are my subjective interpretations of my subjective experience, and I have difficulty to put it into words, but ... did anyone experience anything similar? An unexpected "second trip" caused by some kind of energy movement through chakras (I am also aware that my "chakra interpretation" may not be a reasonable interpretation – I have just been missing words to capture my experience...)?

Any ideas on how to interpret this / work with this?

I too have had trips where I can feel the presence of chakras and their energies associated with them, I do not believe in chakras, nor do I not believe in them. I don't know what to make of it either, could be a play on a topic we've heard or read about, or it could be real.

I have a similar approach to "Sky Motion": I am curious about it, want to learn more, while hesitating to frame the experience in any particular spiritual tradition.

I called it "chakra". However, I wasn´t even then sure if "chakra" was an appropriate concept. "Chakras" just came to my mind as the best approximation I could think of...

I am also glad to learn that this "chakra thing" (or how to name it) sometimes also happens to other people.

I accidentally discovered my chakras one day. I had gotten a crystal, and I was holding it up to my face to examine it closely, when all of a sudden my hand with the crystal in it began forcefully and automatically oscillating back and forth over a wide period. When I tried holding it up to other parts of my body, I didn't get the same response. I eventually speculated that it was perhaps a chakra thing (having been in front of the third eye chakra when I was examining it), so I held up the crystal to where I understood my chakras to be, and surely enough, I got that same involuntary response, but only if held in front of the chakras, with the exception of the heart chakra.

Now you can argue that it was merely auto-suggestion and that my conscious mind was influencing the outcome if it weren't for what happened next. For you see, as I said, it worked for every chakra with the exception of the heart chakra. I began to think that it was perhaps because I had a severe blockage in that chakra (as the intensity of the reaction did vary from chakra to chakra with some being slightly stronger than others, but nonetheless it was like the heart chakra was dead). I was pondering chakras and what I knew about them. I recalled that each chakra was associated with an organ, and it was through that line of thought that I had my "breakthrough realization": the physical organ that is the heart is off-set to the left whereas I had been holding up the crystal to the center of my body.

So I held it up to the center....and nothing. I move it over to the right side...still nothing. I move it to the left...and bingo; it was like turning the battery on. With a sense of full force, my hand began oscillating involuntarily once again. It is because of this that I can reassure myself that my conscious mind wasn't really influencing it so much because as far as I was concerned, I had believed that all the chakras go straight down the spine. It hadn't occured to me that the heart chakra would be offset to the left like the organ. If it was a case of auto-suggestion, my hand simply would have been moving when I held it over the center. The kind of energy that the chakras emit feels identical to the kind of energy that DMT creates and the kind of energy that the holograms I perceive on DMT are made of. Likewise, that "DMT energy" also has the ability to create forceful, involuntary movements in the parts of my body that come in contact with it. I didn't believe in chakras either really. I do now :thumb_up:

I presumed you were on a low dose of oral DMT (or something else)

ive always had to take more dmt for more dmt experiences.

Are you new to this molecule? It seems like you took a dose, experienced subbreakthrough and then after five minutes (when you thought it was done with) the DMT started to actually take off... a slow takeoff into hyperspace we could say.

When i take 50mg doses, it sometimes takes me 3-4 minutes of everything changing and me transitioning into a new 'space' before the experience actually happens. Everything breathing back into place for a moment before taking-off to hyperspace may be a unique experience for you.

If not this, than you had some DMT induced mystical experience after it wore off.

MooshyPeaches: Yes, I am rather new to the molecule (so far I had about 10 sub-breakthrough experiences, and 1 breakthrough experience). But my previous experiences made me quite puzzled by the above described second trip, as it didn´t feel as a breakthrough, nor it did resemble any of my previous subbreakthrough experiences. In fact, during the above experience, I was quite aware about it, and about myself. I knew, for example, that if I opened my eyes, I would find myself (probably ) in by bedroom - that´s why I don´t think it was a "delayed breakthrough". Thanks for your thoughts, anyways.

I am OK with concluding that albeit unexpected and weird, it is a puzzle-gift from DMT, something to think about. Also maybe a message that the molecule is just as unpredictable as a source of a multitude of possible experiences.

Sounds like a totally normal effect of being a conscious being.

Yes, you may be right, "House": what if I am just over-interpreting something...

(I have felt pressure on my forehead + saw some colours before, but I have never been in a shape-less place where colours were the means of communication).

It may be interpreted as something quite normal. After all, in our consensual reality, we see some colours all the time, while communicating by means of sound (instead of colours)
