Using a vaporizer for DMT

So I have lying around a spare vaporizer. Sounds strange, but I do. I bought a new one and have no need for this one.

Anyways, I was thinking of using it for vaporizing DMT since I won't be using it for MJ anymore. Anyone here have any experience using a vape for DMT and for what temp to use and whatnot?

The only thing is the vaporizer is whip only. Do you need to use bags?

Thanks.

I use a log type vaporizer for my changa, works very well. A log style vape is basically a small ceramic resistor, inside a stainless heating element, enclosed in a wooden cylinder that has an air-path that flows through a small "stem" that you pack your changa into. I like it, and think it works very well for changa. Whip vapes should work fine, I've vaped changa out of them before, and while they are not the best solution in this case, it should work fine.

I use the same temp for changa as cannabis, but this is prob overkill. I'm sure 250-300f would work fine as well for changa. My log vape does not tell me the temp, but perhaps i will experiment with my extreme q some day and find out what temp is best as it has a digital temp display/adjustment. I estimate my log vape to sit at about 365F, but cant be sure without a good thermometer which i don't have. I would think you would want a whip in this case, as a bag could cause more condensation and losses or actives to the increased surface area of the bag.

Good luck, and happy vaping.
