So it has been a few months prior to my first DMT trip since I had gotten into serious spirituality.
And one of the practices I had gotten into a few weeks prior was Vipassana meditation where the main objective is to focus on the breath. And the main guy behind it (Goenka) stated in a video - "The breath is the truth". The way he said it with such confidence plus my eagerness, I was totally consumed by that statement. I was like "my god! This is the ultimate truth. Anytime I'm in an uncomfortable situation I will just focus on my breath"
And so anyways, a few weeks later I'm in my first DMT trip. After the rocket cannon launch, I'm in a pitch dark space. And few seconds after, I'm trying to make sense of it, and some sort of uneasiness starts to develop. So I'm like "All good! Ill just focus on my breath" and ha! There was no breath to focus on lol - the sensation of breath had totally vanished.
