Virola Resin - First Experience

Hi! I registered a while ago, but SWIM just had her first experience with the spirit molecule, so I'll post it here. 100mg Virola calophylla resin was mixed with 6mg calcium hydroxide, and a dab of water added. A little too much water, actually, so SWIM just held it all in her mouth for ten minutes. A definite head change occurred. Euphoria, slight feeling of the world being brighter and truer. Some giggles :) Sitting down, eyes closed, SWIM feels like she is in the perfect place at the perfect time.

SWIM can't wait to try 250! :D
 
Hi..and welcome! That sounds great...I've never tried Virola before, would like to though. Think there might be some 5-Meo-DMT in it as well. Would be interested in hearing about your 250mg experience if and when you round to it. 8)
 
Hmm. 250mg sublingually did absatively nothing. Perhaps this method of dosing causes a longer tolerance? SWIM will try again in a few days...
 
Grrrr. Using the same method as the first time, 500mg sublingually resulted in a slight feeling of "something" but nothing visual and nothing profoundly mental. SWIM tried adding the water to the powder in a small paper cone, and pressing on the sides as it dried, to try to compact the mixture into a solid as 69ron describes, but it just came out looking like loose coffee grounds.

I think that SWIM is running into the trouble 69ron describes, of salivating too much for it to be effective, and I think this is because the loose mixture in SWIM's mouth causes the salivation. So, since 69ron requests not to be PM-ed, I'm going to hope that he sees this thread and can post some advice on how to make the Virola resin and calcium hydroxide to fuse into a solid!

Anyone else is free to offer some advice, as SWIM truly wishes to experience the spirit molecule more fully. Eventually, SWIM will probably have to try an extraction, but that won't be until SWIM has access to a private kitchen, and that won't be for some more months :(
 
According to 69ron the resin requires at least 1000mg-1500mg for a profound experience. Also 69ron has an extremely low tolerance to DMT. 20mg of freebase for visuals. SWIM and his roomie can take 80 without feeling ANYTHING.

SWIM has had the same feeling with sublingual administration. Even when the actives are not it, holding something in your mouth for 15 minutes seems to cause a change in conciousness whether it is psychelic or not.

keep at it, if this doesn't work by the time you run out then sublingual freebased DMT though it burns REALLY WORKS. Of course with an maoi to increase the effectiveness. you could try the same with the resin.

To quantify SWIM's sublingual experience.

80mg freebase without maoi = nothing beyond placebo

2g syrian rue brew oral then at T=+45min 60mg freebase (partially dissolved in olive oil to reduce burn) swished tjen spat out at 15 min = Clear CEV, slight OEV and large amount of mental effects.

Syrian rue then at T=+45 min 90mg of DMT acetate in 1ml vinegar. = Nothing but the rue.


SWIM isn't as popular as 69ron but has read a good portion of his wisdom on the forums. As such, feel free to PM.
