Washing Xylene / and syrian rue question

Migrated topic.

How much water is added to Xylene contaminated with FASA and how many times does one need to repeat the washing process?

Also, i have a smaller question, when it comes to oral dosages of MHRB, in what form is the syrian rue suppose to be in when consumed? Is it just syrian rue seeds that are ground up and eaten? Does the MHRB just need to be added to cold water then completely consumed (liquid and MHRB)? Should the water have a certain ph?

as much or as little, but you may need to do it a few times. I'm not sure exactly but once the the xylene looks cleaner I stop. So essentially you should put one part water to one part dirty xylene and shake, let settle, take the bottom layer(water) out and dispose, do this 4-5 times.

You can make syrian rue tea by grinding up the seeds and boiling them for a little, that is the fastest most effective way.

If your making ayahuasca then you should probably mix the seeds and MHRB together in water, 3-5gs of seeds to 10gs of bark. lower the ph to 5 or something using lemons or vit. c. crushed. I'm not certain so do some research, that's what SWIM did when SWIM tried it.

Okay, so i have a 500ml sep. funnel half with used xylene. I washed it once with distilled water, and the water removed a particulate and had a strong smell of acetone (expected). but on my second wash, the xylene turned an opaque white.

What does this mean? why?

Traces of water in the xylene can make it milky/opaque looking. Should one waits for some time it will get clear. But it is fine to use for the subsequent pulls, be it opaque or not.

About the Rue tea: filter it! I read that this stops the nauseating stuff. It can take hours through a normal coffee filter, so prepare in time. Boiling in a tea bag might help. Eating the whole seeds may cause nausea, not recommended unless you like to purge ;)

In my own limited experience, Rue tea is great: the diet precautions are often exaggerated and in fact outdated - just don't stuff yourself with a huge pizza - use common sense. No need to add loads of acids or boil for hours. And I don't think it tastes bad at all with a little honey!
But 5 grams for a cup of tea seems like a lot, I'd say 2-3 grams depending on body weight and potency. Each to his own...
