Hello. Yesterday i was planing to make my first trip, but unfortunately i wasnt able. I think something went wrong with the spice.
Extracted it from ACRB (for some reason from the first opening of the ACRB i noticed some strong smell, that wasnt very pleasant. The smoke from the spice has exactly the same taste. I re-x 3 times. The last time i didnt freeze it, but only after melting it in warm naphta and separate i put it in glass dish and left it there for about 30 minutes to evap by blowing with vent in it. When starter to scraping it i noticed it is not dry solid crystals, but rather some sticky yellow-brown thick liquid. I made research and i though that this is the so called goo, which were even better in some cases so i decided to give it a try.
Loaded my gvg (first try ever using it) with 5 metal screens and one bigger pad, which can be ordered with the GVG from the side. I noticed that this pad doesnt fit tightly in the gvg, but there is a little space between it and the glass wall, but i wasnt sure if this will be a problem, so i place the ceramic filter on the top and starter to inhale while holding the normal butane lighter on the edge of the GVG. The flame was touching the glass and i was able to see the flame going little in direction to the ceramic filter, but i dont thing it was touching it. After 4-5 attempts i barely exhale smoke. The loaded spice was 30mg. I tought that the space left between the pad and the GVG is the reason why it is not working, so i placed 3 more screens and put 30mg directly on top of them. I noticed 30 minutes after the first load, that now the spice wes little more solid than before. Tried again and there was almost no smoke. The room was dimmed with only few candles lightened, so i wasnt able to see good what was going on inside the GVG.
The only effects i was able to feel were 2 really strong good emotions i dont think i was ever experienced before like everything was good, but each lasted for about 2-3 seconds. And 2 or 3 more which were less strong. I noticed also some color change, but this also lasted for a good 15 or 20 seconds. The sound perception become really strong and i noticed that a car from the street that pass by made me feel like the room was flipped over which really scary and i tought i entered in bad trip, but didnt was longer, even the steet is not so close to the window and the noise is not so quite loud in normal circumstances.
After that i put back the pad and the screens together, making total amount of 60mg, and tried to vape it this way, but i wasnt able to feel any further effect anymore.
Then inspection the screens i noticed that they were sticky but the spices wasnt on the top anymore. Same with the pad (probably it melted inside it). Didnt see any inside the GVG.
So what do you thing went wrong? After two re-x is it possible to be some oil left inside the spice ? Did i made mistake with not evaporating the solvent enought for 30 minutes ? Is the pad wrong used ?
I should not have rushed it, but the whole day went great and my energy was high so i decided my set of mind is in good state for it. Even that i felt quite nervous when started to inhale and wasnt in the most relaxing and free state of mind. My intentions for trying DMT is for researching my unconscious part of myself and remember when starter to feel the color change to try being just aware of the thing, but the those questions didnt stop coming up - What i am doing wrong/ What should i improve in my life. Not sure if with this intentions/ nervous state of mind going in trip next time is good.
