There's an awful lot of puritanical sentiments in this thread and some of the comments border on conspiracy theory levels of absurdity.It would be more accurate to say that, at root, all biological systems aim towards procreation and propagation of the gene pool. Phrasing it in this manner avoids getting into egoic territory and discussion of personal sexual preference since, in context, this is a moot point.The energetic systems within the human body are way more complex than most seem to realize and the practices involved in bringing the winds into the central channel are, with no disrepect intended, way beyond most people on this forum and elsewhere. Qi Gong and related practices are useful, no doubt, but they only circulate the winds around the system unless worked with in an intensive, structured way and taught by someone who understands the system.Fucking around with the energetic systems without knowing what you're doing will lead to burnout. I know 'cause I did it myself about 15 years ago and suffered for it. You need to know how to excite the energies but also know how to release them, otherwise you'll experience horrendous pains and psychosis.
