Weird test acid Ehrlich reagent and lsd

Migrated topic.

I was testing some acid with Ehrlich reagent. Tested two different blotter edges and it showed a blue-purple color change. Out of my curiosity i put one drop in a piece of paper which was a printed white paper and guess what that also turned to blue. :d .

Am I doing something wrong or the stuff is bad? The color of the reagent was red and it 4 years old.

Ehrlich is not red, its transparent. AFAIK shelf life of Ehrlich is by far shorter than 4 years.
I heard the number 6 months somewhere.

Now I got a new one and it is pale yellow. It is not showing any color change on normal paper. See the color changes it shown on the stuff i had.

If that is a purple geltab with gold glitter, I would bet on it being good LSD, 200 ug per square. Is that what I'm seeing in that picture?

The first picture I used an expired reagent. What do you think with the next picture?

The pale yellow color was the same color change on my test of the LSD sheet REMOVED in september 2020, I have 3 tabs left. It was certainly LSD. But maybe my kit was also bunk, and I just got lucky. who knows.
