Help i am trapped in the Nexus. I logged in about a month ago and I cant get out, literally not figuratively ,im using a boxee and it wont logout. Hope im not hogging space.
I am a grateful recovering alcoholic, who, excuse the pun, stumbled into this to find a higher power. ayahuasca and iboga kept coming up as anti addictive treatments. I cant comment on iboga ,but ,ayahuasca is healing medicine, this is a truth.
After grinding out rehabs spirit breaking minnesota model and weening myself off of depressing anti depressants I tried aya.
Not only did it flood and confuse addictive neural pathways ,it left a feeling of respect and empowerment. Not corporate newspeak empowerment, but optimistic realities.
Im about 9mos dry, dont have cravings, the whole thing seems kind of silly now.I dont go to "meetings" they get preachy about "drugs",hey, even Bill W.took acid, but dont bring that up in a meeting.
I have been doing some gardening from seed, acaccia accuminata 5 mos old, phalaris brachystaychys now seeding and little peggys ,I think they like growing close together they seem happier . No luck extracting phalaris. But i can attest to an 11 gram quid with 3gms of rue .Very healing feeling ,but, couldnt sleep after maybe hordenine like jamie said.
I am aware of the gramine issue ,but weighed that with foragers doing shots of any grass including wild phalaris. Then again they probably didnt have any linden flowers russian olive or rue.
I would like to say how impressed I am by this sight. it is a tribute to the molecules that have made a positive impact on this entitie.

It was so refreshing to here the calm confident voice of central intelligence ,as opposed to the drunken mind babble of the committee of idiots. Thank you Nexians

You know, I've read that before somewhere, but I couldn't remember where, so I did a quick search. Here's what I found, it gave me a good laugh:

One of his therapeutic journeys lead him to Trabuco College in California, and the friendship of the college’s founder, Aldous Huxley. The author of Brave New World and The Doors of Perception introduced Wilson to LSD-25. The drug rocked Wilson’s world. He thought of it as something of a miracle substance and continued taking it well into the ‘60s. As he approached his 70th birthday, he developed a plan to have LSD distributed at all AA meetings nationwide. The plan was eventually quashed by more rational voices, and a few years later the Federal government made the point moot by making the drug illegal. (That Wilson’s plan was shot down is probably fortunate. LSD is a beautiful thing, but nothing sounds more horrifying to me than a roomful of chain-smoking, frightened, needy drunks tripping their heads off in the basement of the local Y.)

I am a recovering alchoholic myself, haven't had a drop in about 16 months now, and I'm kind of forced to go to meetings due to a family court case going on. I just may have to bring this up next week and gauge the reaction.

In any case, thanks for the chuckle, be careful with the phalaris, and welcome aboard! 😁
