Sorry if that's a little vague. How do I delte this poll for some reason some of the chooses didn't show up I would like to delete and create a new one or edit this one but I can't seem to find how
 
Idont have any. I just believe were here from something else. I Dont believe the fairy tale books. No need to speculate just live and enjoy.Thats why were here.
 
What we can learn is best learned by the scientific method. Spirituality is useful until practitioners begin to abandon empiricism. There almost certainly is no god.
 
life is the higher being. its within the molecules that make us up as well as animals at other organisms. intelligence is our individualism. entities and gods that we meet on our experiences are simply characteristics of life.

I was going to say delete it but after all these replys I don't know if that's the case. Is there any way I could just edit the poll chooses so it's not so narrow minded? I had others for some reasonit didn't show up.
 
I believe we are just highly evolved apes ( which is scientifically proven) that have no point to life so we do what we can to occupy ourselves until it's over ha pessimistic but true! Nature doesn't care if it's your birthday it will still swallow you up. And in the BIG picture nothing matters because the laws of physics will still tear apart your particles and redistribute them acrossed space.

We all are the big bang and we all are one (string theory any one?). So why believe we are some special creation of an impossble entity because the proven theory of evolution proves religion wrong right then and there. I know where I came from atleast. These are my roots I believe and everyone elses,

big bang, either a comet colided with earth and the intense heat molded compounds on that rock into carbon (an organic compound) aka organincs! Or an alien bacteria survived a collision with earth aboard an asteroid or some other mode of transportation, life evolves from these organics and what you see today is an assortment of molecules from all over space

I do not think this poll could be very informative.

Before we begin we should agree on clear unequivocal definition of a god, or higher being.

It is relatively easy to dispose of the traditional judeo/christian idea of god, but what about beings existing in 5,6, etc. dimentions. They will definitely have superhuman abilities, but in their universe they may be quite ordinary.

that's getting a little technical I think. I think everyone here understands the meaning of the thread. And what do you mean by beings in the fifth and sixth dimensions? Do you have any proof of existence of these entities? I'm assuming your talking about the entities of hyperspace? I would love to be informed. Because in my opinion (if you are talking about indeed hyperspace encounters of entities then I believe these entities are just dillusional belief in somehing that you "tripped up" but hey I'm open to anything. Believing things from hyperspace are real was my worst fear going into my sessions (dillusional). I'm not calling you or anyone with these beliefs are dillusional but that is just my view. I do not intend to be hostile at all, this is just thee
only way I could phrase that with out mass confusion. If there were real entities or a real god I would run the streets proclAiming to all the news but until that day my views are what the are.

Faith in a religous sense to me is only trusting in something that was told to you and says that if it is tried to be disproven then that disproving is deeply shunned apon and this is a very narrow minded view. I think faith was created to keep people in the church when the church starts to show some holes In it's armor. Sorry if unclear no offense to everyone and anyone I'm only speaking my mind and if I have offended you I will gladly edit and try an ammend broken chains. Because I understand me saying beliefs are dilussion could REALLY piss some one off but I would like to address this issue anyhow. If controversiL topics were never addressed the world would be a pretty bland less progressed place.
 
Did I not get a response for a reason or am I just paranoid? Sorry if dillusional was a terrible word for the meaning but maybe were just tripping so hard we "think" these entities are real and seperate thongs from us. Because if there was that'd be great and I would tell the world that there are beings in other dimensions. I mean no bad vibes or any thing insuling but am trying to get to a solution to a question I have. Thanks sorry if I made any one mad I mean no harm I really love the nexus!

How would you explain Helen Keller? She was deaf and blind but said she knew God long before she was able to communicate. So she was in fact isolated from being explained who or what God is, but she said God came to her and she had a relationship with him. If God is simply a fairy tale how did she know God?

Spirituality is based on faith, something you feel. Being an atheist I could see how understanding faith would be difficult. There is so much more out there than you can read in a science book. Science is great and has helped the human race evolve so much, but don't put all your faith into it or you may be selling yourself short.
 
I went to cathlic schools for eight years, went to church twice a week for the majority, religion class every day, I have probably read the bible front to back. I'm a confirmed catholic. Now atheist. My mother is extreme catholic now due to me starting at catholic schools. Church is okay for anyone I'm not saying church is wrong it's not for me and I don't believe I'll suffer hell punished by "god" for it. I will live a happy life and die and recycle into the earth and my self will be gone forever. Evenetually well all be star dust again
