what form is dmt in in the plants??

this is a question I have been curious about for some time...in what form ( salt? base? bonded to a certian plant acid?) does dmt exist in plants>?? I know we have some awesome chemist here so mabey one of ya knows??:?: :!:

dmt is technically an amine (slightly basic), but is coupled with tannic acid.

ohhhh actually I prolly could have figured that out myself with some thought to the other constituants in plants...thanks benzyme
