What % H2O2 needed to make dmt oxide?

So I've been reading older posts and have only seen add h2o2 to make oxide. I assume it is 3%? should it be higher? Would higher amounts cause side reactions? I'm interested in testing the activity of DMT oxide with maoi. I've only seen it reference as inactive taken orally without an maoi on the different salt properites thread.

If you have more reports on activity of dmt oxide being inactive with an maoi please share since I've not had success finding any.

Hi,

I recommend higher concentrations, we used 30%.

If 3% is all you have. I recommend the following:

Suspend 1g DMT freebase in 25ml 3% H2O2. Keep adding methanol/ethanol until the solution is homogeneous. Let this stir for 24 hours+ at RT.

Thanks I have 50% concentrate so I'll dilute it a bit.

So I leave it 24h at RT then evaporate?

Hi,

Yes. If not stirring maybe try 3-4 days. Then evaporate and you should have a solid residue left behind which is your n-oxide.
