What if "Aliens" reveal their presense one day? šŸ‘½

Does anybody else have a feeling that 2021 might be the year of disclosure regarding alien contact?

There are bits of info popping here from credible sources and I'm getting a feeling that we are being prepped for a big reveal somewhere during this year.

The real question, pardon me if it sounds mercantile or materialisting, but: assuming that the "big reveal" happens, what would be the best way to prepare and capitalize on the event? :)

Assuming that, if aliens descend on their motherships to teach us cosmic wisdom, it will take quite a time (years? decades?) for everything and everybody to readjust to such new reality, thus creating a lot of chaos and turmoil in the process.
I don't think that it will be like BAM! and then we are all enlightened and don't need material goods to exist anymore. It probably will be like after any usual big event, after the dust settles - chop wood, carry water. So I naturally would prefer to make chopping wood and carrying watter slightly more efficient in the age of our new alien overlods :D

Anyways, this all can be just a crazy speculation. But I don't think it is too crazy to have a friendly chit-chat here on the Nexus :)

P.s. Also what's the deal with Greer's CE5 - does it actually work? Is anybody here using it?
 
i think most talk on aliens is bs but i really like Terence Mckenna's take on it.
the excerpt i linked is very relevant to your post.
i also like his ideas about spores being a way of interstellar communication, in that sense we already have been contacted. According to our scientific understanding and technological advancements, this may be the only practical way of physical contact.
 
While everyone was focused on that whole global pandemic thing and the next episode of orange man theater, this happened without so much as a blip on the collective radar.
 
Most of the tech we have today would be considered "alien" by people 100 years ago. Just because there may still be classified tech that we are unaware of does not mean it's origins were from space. It is fun to pretend though. How to prepare? I've been showing my kids the Star War's franchise for the past month. Good times.

This is interesting and it could very well be be that off world vehicles have come to earth. However, one question I have is how an astrophysicist can decide what can and cannot be made on earth. Seems more like a question for a material scientist to determine (?). I'm not saying Eric Davis is wrong, just wondering.

It could be that others, including people with a background in material sciences, participated in the project but he is the one speaking up for them. Or maybe it is something truly bizarre.

As an aside, I can't understand why people think Bob Lazar's "element 115" prediction is in any way significant (and for that reason, his promotion of it makes me think he is a complete fraud). If he actually stated a stable isotope that hadn't been discovered, or provided anyone else with a sample he would have a strong claim. He arbitrary chose a number slightly above the elements previously discovered, just like any science fiction author would. None of the known isotopes are even remotely stable, yet he claims that as a victory.

One of the most interesting sections of the excellent uaptheory.com site speculates why there has been such an increase in UFO sightings lately:

It makes sense, given the vast scale of cosmic time and the statistical unlikelihood of life on any two planets evolving at exactly the same rate and time.

Think about how cool that is. Hundreds or thousands of advanced, spacefaring civilizations might have all eyes on us at this very moment when we're on the cusp of joining the galactic community.

More than anything, I want this to be true. I hope the aliens make the first move and reveal themselves to us officially and on a wide scale during my lifetime. Remote control cars on Mars just aren't doing it for me.

I also want to believe. My only hope is that the governments recent openness to disclosing UFO materials isn't part of a larger PsyOps disinformation campaign. But barring that bring em on. As long as they don't carry a book titled "To Serve Man"!
 
Here's a McKenna quote, from 'True Hallucinations', that seemed pertinent:
A UFO is essentially this hyperspatially mobile psychic vortex, and the trip may well involve contact with some race of hyperspatial dwellers. I've seen a UFO in 1989 with witnesses, I've been abducted in 2000 (while fully awake and sober in consensus reality -- and in pain for 3 days afterwards), and I've been abducted in adjacent realities (not sure how to explain this one). So excuse me if I don't take seriously McKenna and Jung here who think it's a mental phenomena. My bum didn't think it was mental.
 
phenomenlogically, everything is a mental phenomena. to think that because Mckenna said its a mental phenomena he thinks of it as less real is to misunderstand his whole rap.
 
Hypothetical: Perhaps DMT (and potentially other tryptamines) is alien technology that is meant to be ingested by conscious forms, which also makes it harder [for us] to establish its occurrence, role, and purpose in nature?

the human race is probably older than they claim, but even if it is, we are still very primitive. if there is any truth to our destiny being that of an evolution toward ascension, then we must assume that a race of beings far more advanced than us have already reached that level of consciousness. in which case, vehicles would not be necessary to travel to distant parts of the universe.....

Well, what Jesus preached, was that we should put more effort into working together in harmony. Technological advances, potentially even the advances with psychedelics can backfire badly if we are not morally mature enough to take the steps that seem to be ahead of us.

I think we need time, even though it seems like we could very soon have the means to take the next step.

Imagine this: we all know, that entities that seem alien in nature can be contacted via psychedelics. We could have governments using this technology in decision making and this can change the course of human kind. There is however a tremendous risk that if people who lust for power seek the types of entities who satisfy this lust we can enter a very dark age.
