Hi Nexians!
This is my first time posting here, but I've been lurking for a while. I extracted my batch of DMT almost two years ago and have had a dozen low-dose experiences.
I just got out of two back-to-back low dose closed eye trips, administered through my trusty Geekvape Aegis Solo.
I somehow always manage to forget how utterly magical and otherworldly the experience is.
Something I've noticed is that some trips feel a bit confusing and others feel absolutely crisp with a complete smooth transition to DMT world and back. These two were of the latter sort. I'm sure my attempts at meditation and breathwork beforehand help facilitate this.
During my recent experiences with DMT, I get a deep feeling that life is more of a story rather than the simple uncaring unfolding of physical processes. Not only that, but it's only one tiny story in a whole uncountable multiverse of possible stories, forms, spaces. It's such a gift to be able to experience such radical other-ness as to completely disassemble any notion that modern humans understand what our reality is really all about.
I could feel presences trying to guide my mental process and I experienced a feeling of the waiting-room visions opening up slightly to another reality or space as I attempted to calibrate my thoughts to what they meant to show me. Whenever I veered off-course according to them, I would get the sense of shaking heads or wagging fingers as the portal to that other realm shrank. It was like I was supposed to walk a mental tightrope, and the presences were there to help me balance myself. Perhaps I should further work on letting go of expectations and taking the experience for exactly what it is during the trip, leaving attempts at integration and speculation for afterwards.
It does feel like this molecule is some kind of technology we're supposed to come to grips with rather than a "drug". It really is something else, I look forward to developing my relationship with it and seeing where it leads. In the mean time, I'll just continue learning and creating.
Anyways - wtf! How is DMT such a niche subject, considering it has such potential to expand our understanding of what we are?
I'm grateful this forum exists, it seems much more interesting for discussions compared to places like reddit.
Back to consensus reality now, I'm sure future me will ask themselves how on earth they forgot yet again the sheer otherness of the experience.
I'll leave you with the song that accompanied me on this specific journey - Saguaro Silhouette by Rudy Adrian
