What kind of gallon jar are you using for your tek?

Just curious. I can't seem to find any glass jars big enough.

The only thing I can think of is buying a 4L jar of pickles and dumping them out. Any alternatives?

I am not sure what you are intending to do but I did a STB tek using a water jug.

if you are doing an STB..you may NOT want to use glass for the part that is holding the lye/mimosa/water mix...lye etches glass..and one day you may bump your jar just to have it explode lyewatermimosa everywhere..use a milk jug..or any other HDPE number 2 plastic

I went to a restaurant supply store and bought a few 1 gallon (4 Litre) plastic HPDE2 jugs, exactly the same as those pickle jars. They work awesome, and after having had a glass jar (luckily) break in a sink, wouldn't use anything else. Works with Toulene/Xylene as well.

sorry i forgot to mention. SWIM will be using the marsofold tek. So for a STB tek it's best to use plastic and for a ATB tek, use glass? is that right?
