what symbols do you see?

I am pretty new to dmt but even in the few trips and one breakthrough I've had. I almost always see Nordic symbols and Viking runes. I find this a lil bit strange because normally I hear of Aztec or Mayan or even Egyptian symbols being seen. my ancestors happen to be Scandinavian. even though I know that I am Scandinavian I have never really taken the time to learn about my ancestors culture. I just wonder if I am projecting these symbol's and runes. or could it be hardwired into my trip experience though my linage.

This is fairly cool cause me and my wife take off at the same time facing each other hands held but eyes shut and she mostly all ways opens hers half way through and she's always told me I'm a glowing apricot glowing color and I'm told I have hyroglifics all over my face and I've seen the orangey colour on other ppl so you're not alone :thumb_up:
 
I see symbols which remind me of ancient hebrew or ancient south Arabian / ancient Yemeni or enochian (enochian was a language which John Dee and Edward Kelley claimed was given to them by angels, this language had its own unique text, and by coincidence I see a text that appears near identical to enochian on these journeys, though it looks like enochian mixed with ancient Hebrew and ancient south Arabic/ancient Yemeni.)

Though I've seen several styles of symbols on several different yage journeys, there has been consistency in seeing the style of symbols mentioned above. They seem to appear quite often, and always come attached with intense emotional connections to each individual symbol.

This makes sense to me. According to Jeremy Narby's book, "cosmic serpent, DNA and the origin of knowledge," dmt / ayahuasca allow one to perceive the information stored in ones DNA, such as your ancestors, and evolutionary history. I tend to agree.
As for me, I've seen symbols from all over the world, although the majority of symbols I see come from ancient Mesopotamia and pre-Colombian America, and I have ancestors from both places.

It also depends on which plants I'm consuming. For instance morning glories produce Mayan and Aztec visions, Syrian rue + morning glories gives me visions of mesoamerica and the old world (Egypt, India, Middle East). Acacia confusa gives visions of Egypt, Mesopotamia, India, Far East. Desmanthus brews produced visions of some type of alien technology, perhaps a space ship made up of triangular shapes with rounded edges, as well as visions of Native American people, who I assume are Indians who once lived in my area.
 
There have been a couple times that I've seen golden translucent gears that overlapped each other, and as they turned the symbols were changing within their intersection points.

I wish I could remember it more clearly, it was stunning and seemed to be providing some message, I just couldn't understand it.......
 
My experiences have almost always had an Aztec or Egyptian feel. In one of my last breakthroughs an entity showed me a vision of a black upside down pyramid covered in glowing red hieroglyphs, crazy stuff!
 
I can see a strong connection to Nordic symbols and Viking runes as well as a strong celtic influence.

I also saw a flowing carpet/snake with what looked like Cambodian style text, but not quite. IMO we give it recognition in our own framework and maybe DNA too. However, Apparently I am Anglo Saxon. :d

I think it is meant to be absorbed as 'code' and not 'read' as such. who knows... But odd that many people see the same code..

I too have seen them beautiful golden gears with symbols of some sort on them and as they churned away they would combine to create new symbols, I just wish I knew what they were or what they represent. To OP, you might be onto something. :thumb_up:
 
I had this vision of a metallic structure in a beautiful grassy meadow or something of the sorts... It looked like some sort of machine. (I made a mental note that I need to paint this.) but later on when I was looking at my friends painting, I realized it was the shape of what he was painting, Sri Yantra geometry. Really interesting... I was and am still impressed because I am fairly certain thats exactly the shape it was in.
