Hello All,
I think my old bark has a lot of oxides in it because the yield has dropped dramatically using Q21's lime tek and pulling with naphtha.
Today I found an art store with some limonene, but haven't done a xylene/toluene/limonene pulls previously. I have both fresh bark and the mud from the last extraction to play with, along with a pint of limonene
I have NOT found Fumaric Acid locally yet, however, and from research it looks like FASW is best for oxides, no?
What are a few ways to use the oxides? From 200gm bark only about 0.7gm were pulled with naphtha, but this method/bark has produced over 1% in the past, so I'm pretty sure there is plenty left in the mud.
If I make an acetate will the oxides be in there (and probably be gooey during conversion for vaping)? Is that very easy to weigh and vape?
If I find fumaric acid to make a fumarate, can the oxides be broken so the spice can be crystallized and get the full yield expected?
Thanks!!!
