ok, regarding this post that I heard about a while back perhaps others can help narrow down my search, tried wiki-ing it and didn't find what I'm looking for...which is as follows

THE INTENTIONS OF HYPERSPATIAL ENTITIES

WHAT DO THEY EAT? IS IT US?

HOW DO THEY EFFECT US

WHAT PURPOSE DO >they< HAVE FOR CONTACTING US

CAN THEY BE TRUSTED AT ALL?

ANY help directing me to these discussions would be very much appreciated! thanks ahead of time nexians!

A Case Against the Elves

My personal take on entities is that LOTS (not all, but LOTS LOTS LOTS) are either microscopic organisms inside the body, or a reflection of the earth, both of which "we" are an inextricable part; humanity is so grossly out of balance with the rest of life right now, fixing ourselves ensures survival of the whole, tiny cells and massive planet alike.

But, again, that's MOST of them... not ALL of them. ;)

We do seem a bit deaf to this amazing, all-encompassing field of love that binds living creatures together... The answer could well be, "They love us." Think about that. Try to comprehend being SO loved. After all, the plants still grow and the sun still shines, despite the massive cruelty we commit against ourselves, the earth, and each other--that's some pretty serious love. I think we need to embrace it.

Now, I'll stop here, since I know how some the others feel about too much love. ;) It's getting a bit squishy!!

Skimmed the article, remember reading it a long time ago... Many individuals on and off this site could argue against 'a case against the elves' point by point with contrasting opinions/anecdotes. The author was kind enough to leave the other fluff in there laced with logical gaps and hollow foundations, maybe as an invitation to a public dialogue?

just couldn't resist ;)

WHAT DO THEY EAT?
This question makes me think of the plants&animals' respiration contributing to a symbiotic ecosystem. If we skip the "what are entities, what kinds, etc" questions, the next might be "do they eat" and if they do "what does 'eat' really mean for them".

IS IT US?
^paranoid. maybe they eat our bad energy because they are higher than connotations of good and bad. maybe they consume our ethereal excess that unbalances us. they don't eat my bills, what else don't they eat?.

I got eaten by a demon cat in a dream once, but it turned out to just be a portal-experience into another completely different phase of the dream.

HOW DO THEY EFFECT US
How do you choose to let them effect you? Reception is important: "Love and Gratitude" -antrocles

Using blanket terms like "us" is kind of a bad setup for the question. Time will tell, historians will have their stories. How can you use your experience to make the world that surrounds you a better place?

WHAT PURPOSE DO >they< HAVE FOR CONTACTING US
Do they have a purpose for contacting us? Aren't we the ones smoking dmt and contacting them? What's our purpose for contact? Why should it be different if we're both sets of living entities? ah, this makes me long for hyperspace.

CAN THEY BE TRUSTED AT ALL?
Thieves think everybody steals.

When I was with aya a few times a week some time ago, I got insight from entities that applied to conversations with other humans after the fact. Did I need to cite the entities as sources for this knowledge and get into the above discussions? No, but I did for a while until the over-thought happened that my body/brain/mind is my license here and now to share these insights as my own.

This of course requires an investigation of sound reasoning that builds the insight, which makes for great post-journey reflection. Usually it involves if/where the idea's been relayed before to find various sources/connections for the variety of human recipients that come around, though in my favorite instances it's a ground-up construction. Best of all the experience can then be shared with a wider audience (hooray!).

Expanding the intellect and isolating the I, all under the guise of sanity. Just beautiful.

Or maybe there is no such thing as 'bad energy' only lower and higher kinds of vibration. Everything you can see or smell or touch or taste or hear is cosmic love, bhudda's love. or higher, un-namable entities. a manifestation of the infinite love of the one.

From what I understand, aren't Machine Elves not really elves as we normally perceive them? Terence McKenna's description and descriptions of a similar nature by a friend of mine are a bit more abstract than physical elves. Not to discount experiences with physical elves, but I do not believe they are one and the same. Of course, I haven't seen either kind on anything.

Terence McKenna might help to clarify the answers you are seeking:

So you burst into this space. It's lit, socketed lighting, some kind of indirect lighting you can't quite locate. But what is astonishing and immediately riveting is that in this place there are entities - there are these things, which I call "self transforming machine elves," I also call them self-dribbling basketballs. They are, but they are none of these things. I mean you have to understand: these are metaphors in the truest sense, meaning they're lies! Uh, it's a jeweled self-transforming basketball, a machine elf. I name them 'Tykes' because tyke is a word that means to me a small child, and I was fascinated by the 54th fragment of Heraclitis, where he says: "The Aeon is a child at play with colored balls" ... and when you burst into the DMT space this is the Aeon - it's a child, and it's at play with colored balls, and I am in eternity, apparently, in the presence of this thing.

He goes on further to explain that they are "traders" of sorts. They take information from you, in McKenna's case his knowlege of the I Ching, and leave you with a bit of their own knowledge.
