I made some enhanced mullein (made with: mullein, cyb's tek extracted ACRB spice and 99% clean evaporating IPA, and of course loving intent.;))using my latest extraction, which in un re-xed yielded gooey putty. No different in smell, texture, etc than any other similar yields. In fact I'm quite pleased with its appearance but have yet to try it. The nps is carefully pulled from the extraction vessel immediately into a primary jar, allowing any unwanted soup precipitate to fall, and nps is carefully decanted into a Pyrex dish. No freeze precip, just a long evap. (This was done in a place that was at most times without heat and it's been cold- 40-50 deg F; the nps took over a week to evaporate.)

SOOO...back to the leaf. I rolled a leaf-only joint with it and once it was done, dropped some of the IPA onto the outside of the rolled joint. I held it over the dropper bottle as I did so to collect any drops. You can see a white powdery substance on both the joint and on the rim of the bottle where those drops fell and the alcohol evaporated leaving something behind. I can't quite get a smell on it, but I'm burning incense, tobacco and pot all at basically the same time and have a strong scent of spice floating about the Post- Millenium Falcon, so I'm pretty nose blind. :d

It's fine, powdery, and very white, whereas the goo is gooey and dark burgundy. I've just never seen a re-x on my goos do this, but then again never used IPA to do so. (I VERY rarely re-x or back salt anyway, I'm cool with the goo.)

What's up with this? Any insights?

«EDIT»I feel little silly, pretty sure it's just spice now.
Hmm, maybe I should experiment with cleaning my spice this way. While I love the "full spectrum" ACRB extracts, some nice fine white DMT would be nice to have to compare.

Still, would like y'all's input.

The last pic is another paper I dropped some of the IPA on for kicks and grins. Where the powdery spots are was larger drops of visibly yellow IPA.
