Yes ! dye-making is a good explanation for why those boxes of MHRB keep getting delivered UPS !!     the tannins make the yellow oily-spice ..! Very good spice to have!  There's some alkaloids in that oil !- it 'ignites' quick and vapourizes better. As much as we want avoid burning the spice, those oils really help the vapour form !.     Swim uses a dedicated coffee grinder to 'pulverize' the MHRB - the fibers are chewed up too pretty good. It's easy to burn-out a grinder, big or small like swim's little Black and Decker grinder, so pulsing the blades is a good idea.    Maybe Swim ought to just order the powdered MHRB next time - she used to think that the stuff could be 'cut-up' with something, as though MHRB suppliers would screw-around like that, but good to hear otherwise...
