I’m about to start an AB extraction on San Pedro. I’m gonna use a pressure cooker for the initial process. I was wondering why go through the de spinning and taking the wax layer off after freezing a few times can I not just throw it in the pressure cooker in small pieces

For extraction, it really doesn't make a difference. I guess removing the spines make it a little easier to handle.
I never bother when doing an extraction. When making tea however, de-coring, de-spining, and skinning so you only get the green inner flesh helps make it much more gentle on the belly.
