hey guys.. anyone ever noticed that when you light up your changa, sometimes it will spark? i've had sparks come close to my eyes, so now i try to mostly shut my eyes when smoking it in my bong...!!

i think it only happens with the powdered changa i have... it wasn't my intention to powder it but it got that way after mixing a bunch... it's 10x caapi on chali leaf, 50/50 dmt

making a sandwich in the bong helps, but is not a total fix.

yes haha! my freind almost burned a hole in the couch the other day from some excellent changa that was given to me. it was crackling up a storm and caught me off guard. it was given to me by a nexus member so ill ask him if he knows why.

I've only seen this with caapi leaf that hasn't been infused with anything. Maybe there are parts of your blend didn't get any solvent on them?

You wouldn't happen to be adding gunpowder to your blend?:) That can cause some sparks.

it's chali leaf not caapi leaf...

but yeah i think the problem must be all that gun powder i was putting in ... without that it just tastes so bland

Just speculating here, but perhaps it was made at least partially with recovered spice that had pieces of flint mixed in?

Just a thought,

I like to use leaf thats quite thick and brittle.

One time I got some leaf that was quite fluffy and it would catch fire everytime. Ended up un-infusing it and smoking the green goo that came off instead :)

I have had MJ do that. You get it and it feels a little wet and heavy, then you chop it up and smoke it and it sparks and all of it doesn't fall through the cone once you're done smoking it all, you have to tamp it out all the time. I think in that case there's some adulterant in your MJ; maybe something similar with the changa?
