I've been interested in the Entheogenic Experience (I like the word entheogen, because psychedelic has a very negative stigma) ever since I was 18 and I dosed an eighth of mushrooms. "I have no idea what's going on" I kept repeating, but this just sparked my interest for the realm of entheogens.
I'm a very spiritual person, and I've also very open-minded. I have dove into psychoactive experiences many times in this short year and a half (I'm 19 now, a biochem major). It wasn't until I took a 6 and a half year break that I learned what exactly this realm has ALREADY shown me.
My breakthroughs on salvia really gave me such beautiful insight into the unknown.
I will share one such breakthrough. I had received some salvia 15x from a friend, and was eager to try it. I loaded about a fifth of a gram into my bong's bowl, and ripped, making sure to hold the lighter on it and inhale deeply.
A strange body feeling came rising up in me and I felt like I was being pushed somewhere. Then I started seeing everything in my room moving in such a crazy way that I couldn't focus on anything. "Hit it again" something told me... (I don't mean I heard anything, but rather "felt" that it should be done).
I took another 2-3 hits, with the final hit being the biggest, and I laid on my bed with my eyes closed. At this point I lost all contact with consensus reality and thought my eyes were open because I began to see reality fold over itself, and I saw how it works. I was literally outside the realm of reality, looking in as if it were my very own crystal ball.
I saw about 20 different versions of what could have happened on my salvia trip. In one reality, I was dancing around the room having a great time. In another, I was crying in the corner because it was far too intense for me. THe one that stuck out the most was one where I was just laying on my bed, with a slight smirk on my face.
I consciously made the choice to go to that reality upon returning, and once I chose it, something smiled at me.
Though this entity had no face, I knew it was smiling at me for making such a choice. When I came back I was so glad to be back because, as I describe it, my consciousness left my body and returned attached to my ego. For me, a true "ego-death" experience.
I could go into much more detail, but I just want to show you my reasons for finding such psychoactive substances to be interesting.
The book DMT: The Spirit Molecule really opened my eyes to DMT. And after I heard it was quite euphoric, I set out to obtain some.
Little did I know it would be pretty impossible to come up on such a rare substance. My "friend" decided to do an extraction for himself, and now has 2.3 grams of DMT (surprisingly from the first pull of a 250 gram MHRB/lye/distilled water mix) that he would love to try.
I am so new to this substance, and after testing it a few times, I realize how powerful it really is. So I want to go about it respectfully, and with some advice. It can get scary over there sometimes...
I have been reading around here for a while, just now deciding to join because there are a lot of genuine people here it seems. Much more than any other forum I've been watching.
In my free time I enjoy meditation, reading about Quantum Physics, Shamanism, Alchemy, Psychedelic Information, etc.
I would love to be a part of your forum as a member, if possible
EDIT: I seek information from other members here. I seek to learn everything I can about the inner workings of the universe; I feel as if it's my duty to God to learn all I can while I can, or something.
With my ~6 DMT journeys, I still hardly have a grasp on the whole experience. Hopefully I will be able to learn techniques to allow me to go deeper with the lowest amount of substance, and techniques that allow me to remember more of the experience (one of my walls at the moment).
I'm a very positive person and I truly believe in the power of the human mind. I also believe these entheogens are here to help us speed up the consciousness revival before it's too late! (Sorry for getting into my random ideas).
