Why I am DONE Feeding Feral Cats

So, most know I'm pretty much the crazy cat person of the Nexus, or one of the primary ones. Yes, I carry cat food in my bag. Yes I carry it in my vehicle along with bowls and water . . . . Yes I feed stranger and feral cats.

So, a few weeks ago I started seeing a little grey and white kitty cat. I thought she might be a young adult but wasn't sure. It was hard to tell. I fed her at a distance and she inhaled the food.

Weeks passed and I saw nothing.

Yesterday I am driving through the parking area, heading for my slot and there she is with a larger black cat, looking like BEST friends, casually and calmly sunning themselves. I drive by and think to myself, "Oh! That's not a young adult! The black poof must be her mommy and she must be an older kitten."

So, I parked, then went back with the cat food and bowl. I made kissy noises and made sure the can made a loud pop. The black poof came at me, hissing all the way. I laughed and put the food down then backed away a bit. Black cat tucked right in. I thought to myself, "Mother cats need a LOT of food. I wonder if the kitten is still taking milk?"

The young grey and white was too shy to approach closely but it did get within 8 feet behind a pillar. I used the lid of the can to scoop some out and kind of threw it in the direction of the grey and white. I was stunned when the big black cat, the one I thought was the momma, came and stole all the food in one large bite and ran behind a car. The grey and white smaller cat went with. So, I'm thinking to myself, "Awww, Mom is taking a big bite to SHARE with her kitten. How sweet."

Then I start hearing weird noises. I think, "Oh now, they are fighting over the morsel," so I scoop out more food to get near them. I approach them and :(:oops::rolleyes::censored::LOL:(n)

The big black cat is on top of the little grey and white and they are both looking at me as they go for it, mating like there is no tomorrow, mentally saying, "Thanks for the food sucker!"

So, that little grey and white was NOT a kitten or if she was she was ready to rock. The black cat was NOT mommy, nope, grey and white brought her freaking BOYFRIEND!
