why i'm here

Migrated topic.

DexterSinister

Rising Star
The world is a broken vessel,
and each of has a piece of glass
stuck in the center of our heart.

All we do, and all the things we'll never do;
Everything we are, and all the things we're scared we might become,
they coalesce around that shard of glass
like a pearl forms to protect an oysters sensitive skin.

If the world is to be put back in order,
we each must pull that piece of glass
out of our heart, even though
-- and especially if --
that means rediscovering our pain.

I'm here because I've spent my life searching, it seems. Even as a child, there was something about the gods that called to me, whispering strange riddles and hidden secrets into my ear. As I grew older, I began to read, and became increasingly fixated on the gods I found in my books.

I'm here because I want to bring them out of their dusty pages, because I need to bring them to this earth or, at least, bring this earth to them.

That is why I'm here.

Welcome to the nexus.

Can you elaborate more on what 'the gods' means to you?
Many of use feel like they are searching for something... I feel the mystery around us, that cradles us and shapes us, defines us and is inseparable from what we are. I'm not concerned with solving it, but rather with diving in deeper into it, elucidating/exploring it, without finding answers.

I hope your journeys are full of wonder and awe!
I hope you enjoy the nexus community!

Bravissimo Enoon,

Very well said and so clearly put. DexterSinister, you're quite poetic. Welcome to these hallowed halls. I too, would like to know which "gods" you refer to? We all share so much in common, yet often find our outward expressions and the semantics which we utilize to communicate them, are not always synced with our fellows.

My Deity is a living field of non-dual consciousness. It is infinite in scope and exists within all beings. This central core-awareness incarnates in myriad variations of Gods, Goddesses and Godlings. Still, each is united with an indivisible field of energy, which is forevermore unbound and unbroken.

Can you share a bit more about these gods you have found in your books?

Loved the poem.

N,N-DMT was what I was always searching for. Hyperspace, was ready and waiting. Already a part of me, or so it seems.
