will dropping liquid lucy into water ruin it?

I know this is the wrong section but i havent been promoted yet so ya. SWIM recently acquired a vial of some potent liquid lucy. he tried it for the first time about 10-11 days ago and 2 hits had him floored. today SWIM oops'd about 3+ hits worth into a glass of water, said fuck it and drank it anyway. its been 3 hrs now and SWIM has only experienced very minimal effects, most likely placebo. so SWIM is wondering if the water somehow destroyed the lucy before it got absorbed? SWIM knows its legit since it kicked his ass last time, and he dropped it straight into his mouth. SWIM knows moisture will break the molecular bonds, but in like 5 seconds? SWIM has been storing the vial in his minifridge, the vial is wrapped in tin foil and double bagged in ziploc bags. anyone know whats up?

yes there is stuff in tap water that can degrade the LSD. Dont put LSD into tap water.

Was it tap-water? I have heard that even the small amount of chlorine and other chemicals in tap-water will break down LSD. I have no experience with this and not alot of scientific knowledge on the matter, but I'm pretty sure LSD is a very fragile substance.

Also, was it sitting out in the sun at all? I've had tabs that I knew were good sit in the sun for just a couple of minutes and they were completely bunk by the time I ate them.

ya it was tap water , didnt know about the chlorine thing. no im careful to keep it away from light of any kind, i only bust out the vial at dosing time.

so since i didnt trip today, would i be good to trip in two days? or would i somehow have a tolerance from the ruined LSD?

If the LSD affected you at all then yes, you definitely will have a tolerance. I'm not too sure about the broken down LSD affecting your tolerance though.

ya it did, but it was barely noticable, probably just placebo im thinking. oh well, i might dose again, idk, i have plenty, but id hate to waste it.

you probably will have some tolerance, i would wait it out 4 or 5 days, then you should be good.

Sounds like you got lots don't spend it all, save some for a rainy day.

Yeah with LSD ive found best is to wait a week before dosing again. And as everybody said, LSD can be destroyed by chlorine in tap water.

I have also lost 3 drops of good LSD to chlorinated tap water... haven't had any problems with bottled water though.

I've dissolved sugar cubes in lemon juice with tapwater... can't recall losing any potency... but perhaps there is less chlorine in my water here. If you don't want to get bottled water you can just heat your water i.e. boil (and then let it cool again) or let it sit for 24-48 hours, which should get rid of most of the chlorine. Like I said, I never had any problems with my lucy losing potency. But I suppose tapwater is different depending on where you are.
