HEY! I know that water and acetone are miscible, but if one were to put water in acetone, and put it in the freezer, would the water freeze in the acetone?

yes, it can freeze if there is enough water present

sorta like alcohol, higher proofs wont freeze, but beer will :)

dang, but it won't form a separate layer of frozen water?

You can just filter the ice out with a coffee filter (or try to decant, but there will probably be smaller pieces of ice). They're in two different phases, that's separation enough.

no, they are both too polar/ miscible
picture a frozen beer as an example
