Swim was back to the pipe after a long rest. In his words -
"I had prepared some enhanced leaf - about 80/20 blue lotus and pau d'arco with the same volume (not weight) of DMT. It was prepared by melting and stirring the DMT at low heat into the blue lotus and pau d'arco until most had become absorbed. There was some solid DMT residue left over and was scraped off into the rest of the mixture after it cooled.
I have come to prefer this over dissolving with isopropyl alcohol and waiting for the drying to take place. There seems to be an excessive "almond" like flavour which I prefer to do without. Maybe acetone will do the job without the aftertaste - will try soon.
There were a few nights of taking a couple of lungfulls at a time and lying back with eyes closed to watch the colours and shapes. I really enjoy the visuals. The dynamic architectures, seem to move and swirl into changes, sometimes phasing in and out of each other. Like luminous multi coloured blueprints of buildings, each one seems to have a vibrancy of its own. Sometimes they seem to trigger a superimposed picture of another place - very much like the familiar "outside" world as experienced in a dream. I wonder if the DMT patterns trigger this in a similar way that looking at music notation triggers the sound of the music in those who have learned the connection. Or vice - versa.
Anyway, last night something extremely profound and different happened. The mixture was getting low and there must have been a higher concentration of DMT in the mix due to residue settling at the bottom. I took one full lungful and before I reached full capacity could feel effect kicking in. The low lighted room took on the unmistakable character of DMT with a "Here I am!" kind of humourous tone. Can't explain that much further with words.
The thin but coloured threads and aurora like curtains were present with eyes open. All sorts of patterns. Then, as I like to do, I closed my eyes to see what the geometric and other shapes would decide to show me. More of the same of the above, impersonal but dynamic psychedelic archetecture. Then the experience levelled out, dipped in intensity slightly and then there it/they were.
These shapes like a grid or framework made of the DMT colours and shapes. Except this time, they were conscious entities. At least thats what I felt. Their distance wasn't close up or distant. It was just right. And they all started to dance and reach out to me. This was so beautiful all I could do was just keep repeating "Wow!". Each part of the framework was alive and did the usual morphing into another - personality? ALL SEPARATE BUT INTERCONNECTED. I wanted to reach out back to them but couldn't. They were "smiling" and I was experiencing something amazing. I didn't want to leave. But, eventually I did, of course. I am very careful of using the word "Love" as there is something non - physical about it. But afterwards, I remembered reading a definition of love as "..the positive exchange of energy between two sentient beings .." I have to say that within that definition it just has to be. I wonder if that is similar to KwisatzHaderach's experiences - DMT is a lot like ....Love ?
Before I began this post, I eagerly read some members posts. I'm glad I did because without doubt posting your experiences is a great help in not just understanding my own, but gives me extra information that helps me to describe my own experiences much better than without it. Cheers, all :d
On reflection, it was probably only a level 1 experience (thanks for the "level" info, Antrocles), but the right frame of mind can be a great multiplier, I think. There's much to absorb and integrate from this experience, but I wonder - was it me out there or even some of our Nexus family out (in) there?
DMT is certainly food for thought!"
Well, Swim has a left me with a lot to take in.
Peace, Love Happiness and everything that is good,
