...is the color I hope my crystals don't turn out!! (better than green/blue, tho)
Hi, fellow travelers. I am an 18 year-old dude from Florida, the land of super-harsh drug laws. Over here, selling acid is considered manslaughter and selling weed lands you in jail for 5 - 20 years. Fuck that. Even though this place kinda licks balls, I'll be moving out of my parents in no time to live with two friends in an apartment for college. Still in FL, but higher up north, where the acid is better and cheaper. I'm finally going to take on life for myself, get out there into the "real" world, and I can't wait!!
My friends and I have smoked weed for 2 years now, and we have all been caught by our parents. I was the first to be caught, when we were all smoking out my room on Halloween the year we started to smoke. My parents have caught me maybe 10 times since, and apparently knew I came home high plenty more times. I tried explaining how harmless it is of a drug, but they won't hear it. I think they are more worried about the legality issue, which I understand; however, none of us has been arrested, and we don't plan on being any time in the future.
I love science and philosophy, and am very interested in what psychedelics can show me about subjective reality (philosophy) as well as objective reality (science). What I've seen and felt and thought thus far makes me very excited to continue my journey of discovery and to be a part of this great forum, where I can discuss, share, and hear others ideas about subjects that fascinate us all!!
I'll next be posting about my rebirth experience with DMT, which was last week. I have been gripped with emotion about it ever since, even though I can barely describe the experience. I believe the DMT experience is as describable as any other form of consciousness can be with words, which is to say barely at all. I still have to applaud Hyperspace Lexicon though, that is a very interesting idea. Hmm... we describe "normal" consciousness with words like love, anger, happiness, reluctance, desire. Do these remain what they are in the DMT-mind? Perhaps they are "transformed"? The mind is in some way transformed, I know that; it is so complex however that this transformation is necessarily also very complex... yet brought about by one molecule. That's one comfort in this daunting task before me. That and you guys, who will add ideas to my mind that it would probably not have thought on its own!!
WOA, is THAT perhaps the function of DMT??? To allow radically different-from-its-own-usual ideas to a brain??
Lol, I'll stop myself now and bring this stuff up later... seriously though my mind is being blown.
