I dont really agree about mescaline being less alien at large doses or really being a much of a social/public thing. A whole gram of mescaline would also be way way too large a dose I think for me. 12 grams of dry peruvianus has given me very powerful trips before.I never understand how people can say that mescaline can't phase them even at large doses..I have lost my mind with mescaline before had to walk miles for hours because every time I stopped I would time travel and freak out.

I think it affects people differently. I found the dizzyness pretty hard going, and not nice at all, when i tried it in "Mexico".

If I remember correctly you said that Pot was a factor in your time travel. I have also lost my shit whilst high on mescaline and imbibed in the Sativa. Dose not mix well with me at all.

I don't necessarily think Mescaline is 'social', more that it lends itself to conversation. But its not like Id be comfortable or capable of having normal conversation with people I didnt know. I just feel it lends itself very well to being with friends.

Its just a dose thing for me Fractal.... 500mg is my sweet spot, anything over that and Im in complete lala land. That sweet spot s probably much lower for you. An enviable position to be in

I agree that larger doses can blast you in to another world just like other psychedelics. But even then I find the gradual blastoff much easier to digest.
