4th Jar Question on Noman's TEK

Here's how the part in Noman's TEK reads that I'm a little confused about here...

Repeat steps 4-5(naphtha pulls) above three more times, but do not add any new powdered root-bark. You will be reprocessing the same original root-bark material, in order to thoroughly extract the DMT from it. With the final (fourth) jar, leave the naphtha in the jar for a day or two (agitating it occasionally), to better extract any stray DMT.

What does the underlined sentence in bold mean?
To leave the naphtha in the lye/root bark mix for a day or two?
Or a separate jar of only naphtha? (Just like the first 3 pulls)

Man, so many people have had their fingers in that tek, sometimes I hardly recognize it.
The version on this site is better.

That's sort of what I was leaning towards since that's what SWIM did last time without even questioning it and he got a better yield than his first 3 pulls.
I've got to be honest, I've never heard of heating the mix on the last pull.
After I read your last sentence I looked around a bit for info on that, but couldn't find it so forgive me if this is repetitive...
How hot should the solution get? And how long should it be heated for?
Should the naphtha be separated from the basic water/bark mix right after it's heated or does it matter?
I'll definitely look at the version on this site now then.
I believe SWIM got the one he's using from Erowid.
