Wow, the D-Limonene is pricey.
Does anyone know if it can be re-used in this tek?

Hi you can reuse the d-limo multiple times. It'll take up a yellowish color. I'm not sure how often it can be reused before it gets to saturate with stuff but when not used for a year or so you'll notice stuff in the limo which doesn't look too healthy. Probably you could distillate it if you have an apparatus for that and reuse it over and over again.

It's indeed not the cheapest solvent but to me the most appealing.

In Europe normal price for pure dlimonene is around 8 to 10 EUR per liter.

The tek calls for food grade..this is labeled as 100% D-Limonene (Tech Grade)

I think it would work fine... I mean you're salting your alkaloids out anyways. I don't imagine there would be anything in it that would precipitate when salted.
