A/B extraction on central coast Sophorae

Migrated topic.

Hey, starting an A/B extraction on 100g of dried phyllodes/handful unripe pods from some Acacia Sophorae growing near where I live. Phyllodes were chosen that were darker green and without a shiny coating. These have been dried in a dehydrator then put through a nutri blast. PH has been bought down to 3.5 using citric acid and 1L of solution is currently simmering away lightly. A rough handful of salt has been added to prevent excessive emulsion. Solution is being stirred roughly every 10 minutes. Just taking notes and photos as I am going off multiple TEKS and any other information I have gleaned from textbooks, forums etc. and figured I'd put up results.

several de-fats performed before extraction but a negative result. Possibly due to a recent period of rainfall. Experimenting with waste product to see if soap can be made as a by-product.
