A/B Tek problem with FP

Hi,

I have made a new recent batch and used some new naphta, same zippo fluid but from another vendor. Now I did the whole protocol with vinegar, boil, add NaOH, add Naphta and invert (the standard recipe), and froze for over 12 hours.

However this time, the dmt doesn't want to stick to the bottom of the container (in my case a regular glass meal container which used to work). I see there is quite a lot of DMT floating around in the naphta, quite highly concentrated, although as mentioned it doesn't want to precipitate.

I have already tried to pour the solvent over 2 new containers to decrease the nap volume.

Any suggestions?

I use a permanent Coffee filter to pour off the Naphtha so i don't lose any crystals. The other way is to go fully evaporate your dish.
You can also freeze for longer a 24-48 hour freeze will be better.

Yes thanks, trying 48h now, and if it doesn't work I'll try to evaporate a bit.

Its a bit strange because i have like 20ml of naphta in the dish, and still it doesn't want to precipitate, 18 hours of freezing and i see the particles are clearly in solution.

This didn't happen before.

As mentioned I used the same zippo fluid, but this time from a different vendor. The bottles are exactly the same.
