A little trouble on 1st attempt

Hello all,


I just tried basically a straight up copy of Cyb's tek on 50g acrb

I did 5 pulls and the naphta did turn nice and cloudy in the dishes.
After 16 hours in the freezer I had very little crystal.

I decided to pull the naphta into a mason jar and set in the freezer again, I can see lots of stuff floating in there even some crystals, maybe my freezer did not get cold enough???

The dishes did evap outside and I pulled about 100mg of orange goo and some smaller pebbles.
Def smells like you guys describe.

Should I try to freeze precip the naphta I saved, like I said it looks like there are lots of goodies in there.

you can freeze precipitate it or simply evaporate it at room temp until it's all gone

evaping whats left at room temp will leave nothing but whatever goodies may be in there correct?

Its in freezer now and already has formed some on the bottom and sides, including one really chunky piece, I'll leave it in for now.

If I can pull some out, shall I evap the rest at room temp and see if I can get anything else out of it?


Whats a good method for decanting the naphta from a mason jar? Coffee filter into another jar?
