After trouble with getting MHRB into Australia, I did some research on acacias. I was under the impression that a species that contained alkaloids would be rare so I did not bother with the research to start with - big mistake. I printed photos of the species that are apparently native to my area then went on the hunt. *Gets in car, drives 10 seconds, sees one of the species, lols, keeps driving, gets on road main road, 2 minutes later notices that this species is flippin' everywhere! more lols*
I was kind of annoyed that I could of known this so much earlier but very content and happy that a plant that is a 1 minute walk from my home contains alkaloids. First I took a sample home to make sure it was one of the species, it is. The next day I got samples from 5 different plants then took photos of them for a proper ID.
This species is either longifolia, floribunda or obtusifolia all of which contain DMT. Here they are:
