Acacia simplex extraction, dmt/nmt separation

To the OP (this is an old thread but anyways).. What evidence do you have that you had NMT in the first place, and that you separated anything? Was any analytical test done? For all we know, it might all have been just DMT.

That particular extract was from a tree harvested at the end of the dry season in october, so you're right on time to harvest some, if you want to emulate that test.

As for the results, as you can see, it's pretty much only DMT.

Also, just because something doesn't crystallize doesn't mean it isn't DMT or pure. Even pure DMT can be in the form of oil. Or small amount of impurities can also affect crystallization.

Hey Mogway,

please find below 2 extraction from simplex :


The top goo (brownish) is an extraction with drytek AB (Q21Q21) with acetone
The yellow goo below is extracted from xylene in a classical AB (Cyb AB tek)

I let the extract drying during few months and you can see that :


You could see the xylene pulls seems to solidify.
Theses extracts will be sent for analysis a bit later.

Concerning the research, i would suggest you to send this extract for analysis (see the related thread in the forum).
This will add more data to this tree (last study from 70's), and we'll see DMT ratio.
Another suggestion should :

- Let extract dry in the dark during weeks or month to see if solidify
- dissolve your extract in warm naptha, filter then put in freezer for freeze precip.
- if your confident with your bark, method, chemical and you, you can bioassay it on a scale based test (start with 10mg then 20 then 30...)
- do you presentation on the forum !
