pitubo, I tried accessing that book through your link but was unable to get the full download to launch. Any tips on using that service? I found all the options a bit confusing. Do you have to be set up to download torrents (I'm not)?

In addition to that Doryphora paper I still need [see above - DOI: 10.1080/10412905.1993.9698288], I found a few other refs from the same journal if anyone can help...

The site sometimes has network problems. Try the "mirrors" on the bottom left of the page, if that doesn't work then I don't know. Perhaps you need to use a proxy outside of the USA? Torrent should not be necessary, or at least I've never used it for this site.

Thanks! Just the Doryphora paper to go now. Weirdly I can access more recent Journal of Essential Oil Research papers through my local university, but the site they connect to doesn't list the older stuff which I've requested, which I can view abstracts of online but can't access without big $$ :(

Salt selection for basic drugs

Abstract
An attempt has been made using a Kepner-Tregoe decision analysis approach to provide rationale to salt selection for basic drugs. The selection objectives are reviewed in terms of the ‘essential’ (MUSTS) and ‘desirable’ (WANTS) issues. The desired characteristics of the salt form, given sufficient strength and toxicological suitability of the conjugate acid, are then discussed on the basis of the various pivotal physicochemical properties; melting point, aqueous solubility and dissolution rate, stability and hydrophobicity. Several trends are established which can then assist the decision of which range of salt forms to evaluate to overcome a particular problem with a basic drug. It is concluded that it is important to view the choice of salt form for development as a compromise, with particular focus on the correctly weighted desires to obtain the best balanced choice.

β-Phenethylamine, tetrahydroisoquinoline and indole Alkaloids of Desmodium tiliaefolium

Abstract
Ten alkaloids (I-X), five β-phenethylamines, two tetrahydroisoquinolines, and three indole-3-alkylamines, have been isolated from Desmodium tiliaefolium. Chemical transformations, spectral (UV,IR, NMR, MS) evidence, and in most cases comparison with reference materials established their identity as tyramine (I), hordenine (II), 3,4-dimethoxy-β-phenethylamine (III), N,N- dimethyl-3,4-dimethoxyphenethylamine (IV), N-methyl-3,4-dimethoxy-β-hydroxyphenethylamine (V), salsoline (V1), salsolidine (VII), tryptamine (VIII), abrine (IX), and hypahorine (X). Alkaloid (V) is a new naturally occurring compound, while no tetrahydroisoquinoline alkaloid has been encountered before in this genus. This is the first time that three different types of alkaloids have been reported in a single legume species. In addition to the above alkaloids, four quaternary β-phenethylamines and tetrahydroisoquinoline alkaloids have been detected, and choline and betaine have been isolated from the water-soluble alkaloid fraction of the roots.

I checked the entire catalog of the university system I'm part of and couldn't find it.

If you can obtain it easily/quickly please do colour, they do have a hard copy at the university but it's a long trip out there to pick it up, I can do it if necessary but it may take some time.
 
I just put in a request for the article -- it turns out my system does have it, it just has to be exhumed from the noncirculating storage crypt. It should take me a few days to get it.
