SWIM pointed out to me that acetone is quite soluble in water!
Some people here are gonna be thinking "DUH!!!" but .....
SWIM asked me to point this out because he recently attempted a slightly altered bufotenine extraction he found on these forums. SWIM hadn't found any of them stating that if you use acetone with water, it'll be nearly unrecoverable.
Apparently most of these teks said to mix acetone with the dried yopo seeds but they never said why they must be dry ...
He just wanted me to point this out so other people don't waste a good quality of product as he did
...
He tells me xylene may be a better choice.
