ACRB Tek, Earthwalker or Thick-Light....which is best?

I realize that "best" is a subjective term, but I'm genuinely torn between Thick-Light's tek and scaling up Earthwalker's to 500g. I hear great things about both, and I understand that they're using the same principals, but there are pretty significant differences. Using powdered ACRB, is there any advantages to boiling vs hot water bath? Perhaps one could do the Thick-Light tek with the mini A/B from Earthwalker's tek at the end?

If anyone has done both, a comparison of the two in regards to yield and crystal quality would be greatly appreciated. the forums have been searched, to no avail.

Wow, thank you so much for sharing your experience with these teks!

My biggest question is, can one do the mini A/B after doing thick-light's tek, without the salting step from Earthwalker's? The one concept I'm not completely sure about is the salting. I know one could integrate that step into thick-light's tek, but would it cause any negative interactions with the rest of the extraction?

Finally, in one's experience, is it necessary to do the long boils with powdered ACRB? Or could one do a warm water bath overnight with similar results?

Freeze/thaw process is already in the works, hoping to start extraction tomorrow night!
