I don't really understand the whole post. But, if I got some of it correctly, I think they're talking about increasing the yield of lab-synth DMT, not extractions on plant material.

Are they going to use DMT as a pharmaceutical drug, as is? Or are they going to use it as a base molecule to develop different compounds?

Anyways, this looks promising.
