Advice Needed - Acetic goo, what to do?

SWIM has a fair amount of gooey alkaloids that he salted out of his exhausted MHRB using q21's d-limonene / vinegar tek. What SWIM would really like to do with these is make a changa, but would rather not use the limonene to do this because of it's long, slow evap time. SWIM is impatient. :p

Can anyone suggest a good solvent to use that will pick up all of the alks in their current form? Was thinking IPA or hot naptha, but not really sure. As I sit here writing this, I'm thinking, SWIM probably should have just added his changa herb at the vinegar evap step..., but then he'd have vinegary tasting changa.:? Any suggestions?

Lastly - According to the tek, this salt form is just as active when vaped, and basification is not required. Is this accurate?

Peace and thanks!

Thanks guys. That opens up some options for sure. SWIM mentioned that he thought it would be pretty cool to have a vial of tincture in his collection.

Stay tuned. I shall report back with results.

Peace!

or make paste with sodium carbonate and water, dry, and pull 3x with warm IPA, then evap onto changa ;)
endlessness - This is actually what I'd really prefer to do, but I have one question: I'm assuming that calcium hydroxide would work just as well (if not better) as sodium carbonate. Is that correct, or is calcium hydrox. too strong of a base?

Thanks and peace,
