I tried to post this last night in detail, but just as I was nearing the end of my report, I got an error message and lost the whole thing. Anyway it took me ages as I only have a phone to access the internet so Ill just give a brief version now.

Normally I try to arrange optimal set and setting for dmt experiences, but last weekend I was at a small festival (very nice, rustic, old school traveller festy) and drank nothing but beer and cider 18 hours a day from friday till monday, also partaking in a well known colombian stimulant.

I considered this to be less than optimal set for smoking dmt, but, in the early hours of monday morning I shared a couple of pipes with a complete stranger and had the most beautiful experience ever. Both of us looked around the field we were sat in, as the first light of dawn arose, and shared a magical moment where the whole universe felt as one. The trees, the sky, the other people jamming round the fire...It was profound. We laughed, cried, hugged each other in disbelief. So much better than all the times when Ive carefully prepared for it.

Anyway, just thought Id share that. Maybe all the rules dont matter when its just the right moment?

Sounds like you have had a great time.

I have a view on this ‘right moment’. When having experienced your best experience, in retrospect people tend to explain this.

So when the preparations are good, the conditions excellent, the mindset perfect, these things are considered the cause.

On the other hand, when acting spontaneously and not caring about the ‘rules’ , we are inclined to see this as the cause.

Simply said, the ‘right moment’ is determined after someones best journey and can be everything.
