First the intro. I have never yet had DMT, but have had psychedelic experience--LSD was my first psychedelic experience many years ago when it was in tablet form and was most likely as authentic as you could get at that time--1971

years later I found out about magic mushrooms, and I have had many magical trips.
I write a blog all about issues to do with entheogens, and related, andddddddddddd

This forum is the weirdest I have EVER been too. I registered quite a while back and at that time couldn't find out how to post, and just gave up, and this time I had to go to chat to ask and am told I can only post in the NURSERY?

What are the reasons for this hierarchy??
 
If you look at the crowd that is allowed to post at the Shroomery, you'll understand why we don't let everyone into the main discussion.

If you prove to be personable, relatively sane, and seem like you aren't going to break any of the forum rules of discussion then you'll be allowed to post in the rest of the forum within a couple weeks.
 
Ye, its there to see if new members are really genuine. You will soon come to realise that this isn't just another forum.

So QUESTION. We are all suppsed to be about sacred medicine right? Deeply sacred. So why is it do you think that we get such shallow plastic attitudes from westerners as shown in spades at the Shroomery? Any ideas??

My guess would have to be it takes some folks a little longer than others to sit, listen, and learn from these deeply sacred medicines.
Also, there's just a mass of young bucks over there flowing their souls the only way they've been programmed to.
Luckily for the human race, and the aliens observing our silly tangled state, these medicines are here to reprogram!

It is not ALL bad there though. I joined there ages ago, and I felt exactly the same first time. Then I was researching about set and setting for psychedelic trips, and thought I'd checkout the Shroomery, and I found some very sensitive posts there, but they seem from some time ago lol

I have tried to create discussions there but find the attention span with many of them is short.

Word. I do like posting in the ID section for help with certain mushrooms I've picked that I'm unsure of. I always get a knowledgeable response, usually from the same guy! 😉

Yeah, it's not all bad. It's just ridden with...well, whatever it's ridden with. Good information is there though.
 
Pleased to meet you, Shizam - I was in Manc a few weeks back. Had some powerful journeys while I was there. As a result, the place has a special place in my heart. Love that city.
 
Yeah its not a bad place. I love northern humour!! Have you seen The Royle Family--that is SO typical of 'us' LOL

the hierchy here is very benificial to seprate the casual from the intrepid , i guess this is really why its there ,
if you're already on a psychadelic path go for Spice as soon as possible , i don't really know why i waited for this long myself however when i dis just a few months back i realised what i had been missing , its beatiful beyond belief and sacred , this is the stuff that dreams are really made of , a true human entheogen as out brain produces its own , i guess probably to create conciousness
this i guess is probably more safer than marihuana this way as we have it in our body , smoke some spice right now my friend don't wait if it was not for you probably you would not have even heard its name like the other 99% of humanity , the universe has sent you the ultimate gift my friend go ahead and take a peak into the mystery

lol right. Funny--I have read about DMT quite a bit but never heard it called spice till now. Interesting. I will know now--am hip 8)

IF I had someone in front of me and set and setting was right, I would very well love to try it. I, like said, have heard so many glowing reports--of course the first being Terrence!

What was your first experience with it like?
 
A dear friend of mine says it's a portal into a hyperdimensional reality, apparently. But he's fictional, so I don't know what to believe. So what brings you here, then? Curiosity? Research?

There is really not a hierarchy here, it's simply newcomers, and everyone else. We are somewhat democratic here, and suggestions or complaints from any member are taken seriously.

We struggled long and hard before coming to the conclusion that we needed to have a buffer between new members and established members. We were simply having too many new members that were creating havoc and chaos. The mods do their best to promote people as quickly as possilbe. It's not hard to be selected, simply posting relavent posts, adhearing to the Attitude page, and treating others with simple respect is all that is required.

Welcome Shizam! I hope you find what you find what you are looking for here!
