AI animation: Breakthrough DMT - From the forest to hyperspace and meeting the Jesters

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share with you a personal project that explores a breakthrough on DMT, visualized through AI. This video begins in a peaceful forest where the trip is taking shape. Gradually, the forest deforms, and a tree-shaped mandala portal appears, transporting us into hyperspace.

In this universe, we pass through various forms: plants, mushrooms and even alien creatures. The journey culminates in a mystical encounter with the Jesters - intriguing entities that many of us have encountered on our DMT journeys.

Why I made this video:
My goal with this animation was to recreate the intensity and surreal beauty of a breakthrough under DMT. To bring this vision to life, I mainly used Flux and Stable Diffusion to create the images, then animated them with ComfyUI and animatediff. The idea was to capture this unique and mystical experience, especially the appearance of the Jesters, often both playful and enigmatic.

Well, that was pretty damn awesome, and I'm not usually a fan of a lot of AI generated art. This very much reminding me of the visual aspects that can be entailed wonderfully.

I appreciated the pareidoliac transmutation of faces about half way through that ended up becoming jesters. I see that kind of stuff happen all the time.

I have had similar experiences with jesters, especially when they're hiding in the space somewhere.

I don't think anything really prepares one for a breakthrough. If anything it seems that the more one tries to prepare the further they get from just getting there.

Most striking forms of entities I've seen on DMT, that's a hard one to answer because there's so many!

Hey @Jubien31, I quite liked your video. While it wasn’t quite my trip, the transition from OEVs to breaking through was just about perfect.

If you don’t mind a suggestion for your next one... It seems to me that your video was meant to be a simulation of what it’s like to take DMT. I would love a return included. Like some kind of scene where you return back in the forest. One of my favorite parts of the trip is opening my eyes and announcing to the trip sitter that “I’m back.” For me it makes it complete. Also, if this is meant for someone that has never tripped, the return to “reality” might be important.
