Hi guys,

sorry if this is the wrong section - please remove it if so!

A friend wrote me recently - saying he wants to give me some dmt. He will bring it too me in 2 weeks.
I´ve tried mushrooms maybe 15 times. Maximum 3.5g - never took a "heroic dose"
I´ve smoked weed daily since I was 17 but finally gave it up. Feel free to ask me anything and I will answer you as good as I can.

I want to do it alone in my apartment, with some music chilled music in this style:

or without any music.

Thank you guys!

I think you're ready. The fact that you already have experience with psychedelics will make it easier.

Start small. Get to know the Molecule.

Good luck. :)

I agree to start slow , getting to know it is a good thing .
I might also suggest no music .
you might consider trying to have no expectation in the beginning . Just try to witness it .or be a witness to yourself

Do it, its mega,

stop listening to TMK, he's brilliant but crazy as a box of frogs. The 3 tokes buisness is nonsense, it may very well take you just one.

Start low, be safe, ditch expectation.

.......do you think its okay for me to take the 3rd toke?

Only you know if you are mentally ready or not.

Do you have to means to weigh the gift that your friend is providing you with? Do you have the tool to smoke/vap that gift? It is much more rewarding if you can "start small" but will you have enough of the gift to work your way up in small increments?

I like that music you linked to!

P.S. Is that YOUR playlist.....that's not you holding the sneakers in the banner pic right?

Thanks for the replies so far. I really appreciate it.

I do think its hard not to have any expectations to the molecule, since I´ve read so many reports on it. But yeah - clear my mind, relax, expect nothing.

I do intend to weigh it. You are right about starting small and work my way up. I really feel I am an explorer and find this so interesting - but dont want to screw it up by going in too quickly.

@Just.Ask.The.Axis : No its not my playlist. I bought the album a couple of years ago since it´s hard to find on youtube. Its _really_ good - the whole album from start to finish takes you on a journey. Been listening to it over and over again and still find little layers and details I didnt notice before. Had some great mushroom trips while listening to this!

I also listen to a lot of electronic chillout, but this album really makes me feel Im in India in the 70s.

This is also some good chillout music from trance producer. (The track is not "trance" but nice chill"

Thank you

IMHO, "being ready" is a multiple faced animal:

1) Where you "ready?" for that first
- school day
- ride a bike
- swimming lesson
- sex with partner
- job
- death of a relative
- etc etc...

in absolute terms: no, because one can't be ready for anything new, which is the ultimate definition for something new.

2) But "being ready" defined like "Will I be able to pull of that job"?
Then the answer is likely: yes.
(If not mentally/psychologically compromised, if the context is sane)
Even when accidentally hyper-slapped, people come back and live on, be it with a somewhat changed perspective (i.e. humbled and full of respect).

The degree of how good the aligning will succeed with the new experiment, largely depend on adaptation factors, of which dose is a mandatory, along with set-setting. Very cliche :?:

3) "Being ready" as in "Is it the right time" to discover the molecule?
Intuition, feeling called, a feeling as this really belongs on the path, .... , are my indicators of choice. I won't claim that any other way is wrong.

I know what you mean Jees.

I feel Im "ready" for it - really looking forward to it.

Thank you so far for your replies.
