Great report, you explained the situation & feeling very well!! That's not an easy thing to do with this substance!!
Absolutely everything in our reality is made up of millions of DNA "spirals", (double helix) that lock together to create any & every physical combination that makes up our existence!!
Everything in our reality also contains & gives off a certain amount of magnetic energy, or "vibrations"!!

From the human body, to a tiny rock sitting on the ground, everything gives of a fluctuating (vibrating), positive & negative magnetic energy that can & has been, measured.
Some things give off much more energy than others, any living thing like a flower or tree has much more energy within it than a common rock out in the alley, but it is there, in everything!!
Even our entire planet has it's own positive & negative poles!!
There are pictures of earth & the sun that show the magnetic energy coming from one of the poles, reaching out into space & then arching back to the opposite pole and vise-versa.

There are certain types of film that can take pictures of the magnetic energy coming off of all things too. I can't remember what its called, but I've seen them before.
If one takes a picture off a person with one of these cameras, there is a multi-colored "glow" surrounding the whole body & totally unique to each person!! This "glow" is decreased to the point of almost not being there anymore, when that same person dies!!
If one takes a picture of a rock with this type of film, there is something there, albeit very little, even a rock has its DNA and its own measurable energy.
They sometimes sell these pictures at "new age" shops. Like where they sell "power crystals", (I know of only 1 real "power crystal"!!) incense and meditation books etc... They call them "aura photographs" at this shop in Sedona AZ. where I've seen them being sold. Even though these shops tend to "cheese" it up a bit, there is legitimate info to be found about measurable energy photos out there!!
When I first started experimenting with DMT and had experienced a couple of breakthrough's, I thought about how the pineal gland produces DMT and how a lot of reported visions include a darkish, "domed room", with millions of fast moving "entities" that seem to dissolve if one tries to really examine them.
I had a theory that when one consumes enough of this special molecule, we are actually able to experience the synapses and other activity within the brain from the point of view of the pineal. Like our consciousness, With DMT's help, is able to disattach from our physical body and witness, on a cellular level, the physical functioning of the brain etc...
I know it's a bit restricted with the wide variety of things experienced on DMT but it would explain some of the basic effects.
Like the third eye, or crown chakra opening then "witnessing" & interacting with the electrical energy & synapses in the brain as separate sentient beings!!
I have also read that in reptiles, the pineal gland actually has a cornea and a lense, just like an eye, except it isn't active.
